I don't understand why the person would get a 90 day driver suspension when he/she was not driving? I can understand if this person was fined for being a minor and intoxicated but why would his drivers license be suspended? There was no traffic violation
If a person under 21 is consuming alcohol and is not driving - why are they subject to suspension of their D/L (assuming they have one) - a fine is understandable. Explain
because of the penalty for persons under 21 who are just passengers and consume alcohol is suspension of their D/L, means that it is a law that all 18-21 y.o should get D/L. so what's the penalty for those who don't have one?
Alcohol is for people over 21
This question is very misleading... does it mean a person under 21 in a vehicle consuming alcohol (even if not driving), or just in general? Idk why a license would be suspended.....
If you don't have a license at the time, you get 6 months of probation. I think you get 6 months of probation anyway, though.
i don't think any of the answer are correct. especially if one does not have a license
What! Are we talking about driving or are we talking about why did the passenger drink?
SIMPLY DISCARD THIS MISLEADING QUESTION! NOW!
Foolish Question!!!
I cannot understand at all.
"If you are 18, 19 or 20 years old and are convicted of purchasing, attempting to purchase or possessing any alcohol beverage you will lose your privilege to drive for one year"
if you are 18-20 and drink alcohol in the passenger seat and don't have a driver's license, you will just pay a $500 fine.
WTH?!
